Security and privacy.
Your meetings are among the most sensitive things you have. Here's how we look after them.
Where your data is
Recordings, transcripts, summaries and a search index of them, people and voices are stored with Amazon Web Services in Stockholm. So is your sign-in. Summaries are written by an AI model (Anthropic's Claude) running in Amazon Bedrock in the EU. Nothing from your meetings leaves the EU, unless you connect an app to your Minne yourself, such as Claude: it then reads what it asks for, under its own terms, until you disconnect it.
Who sees it
Only you, and your organisation if you share a meeting with it: then the summary and transcript, never the recording. Nobody at Minne reads your meetings. Our internal tools show only counts and times, never what was said. In an organisation, admins see hours and cost, never content.
Never training data
Your meetings are never used to train AI, by us or anyone else. Amazon Bedrock doesn't keep what the model reads.
Voices
To recognise who's speaking, Minne keeps a voiceprint. It's a row of numbers worked out from a voice, not the sound itself. Minne suggests names, but only trusts voices you've confirmed. In People you can remove anyone at any time, voice and all. Outside an organisation, voices are never shared. In an organisation, they're shared only if it turns it on, and anyone can always take their own out.
Say you're recording
Tell the others you're recording when the meeting starts. In many places the law requires it, and it's polite everywhere.
How long we keep it
Everything is kept until you delete it: one meeting at a time in the app, or your whole account on your account page. What you delete is gone from Minne at once. Database backups, which exist so nothing is ever lost by mistake, are cleared within 35 days.
Take everything with you
On your account page, export everything as one file: meetings, summaries, people and recordings. Your account
How we protect it
All traffic is encrypted, and so is everything we store, with keys in AWS. There are no passwords to leak, since you sign in with a code. The app sends audio straight to your own part of storage, and nothing about your meetings goes into our logs.
Sub-processors
Amazon Web Services (storage, processing, sign-in and code emails, in Stockholm and the EU). No one else handles anything from your meetings. Card payments are handled by Stripe, which gets a name, an email and a card, never anything from your meetings.
Data processing agreement
It's included for everyone, free and without a signature. Read the agreement.
