What personal data Minne processes, why, where and for how long, and what you can do about it.
1. Who's responsible
Enpalm AB, company number 559460-3010, is responsible for the personal data in your account, and in Minne when you use it privately. When a company or an organisation uses Minne in its business, it's responsible for what's recorded, and we're its processor under our data processing agreement. Questions: hej@useminne.com.
2. What we process
Your account: your email address, name, how you sign in, and a Minne id. How you use Minne: when and for how long you record, the app's version and when it last ran, so we can count hours and see that everything works. Your meetings: recordings, transcripts, summaries, people you name with their role and company if you give them, voiceprints, and files you add. In an organisation: which organisation you're in, as what, and your choices about shared voices. Payment: whether you have a card and which price applies; only Stripe has the card details. And what you email us, and crash reports the app sends when you say yes.
3. Why, and on what basis
To give you the service, under our agreement with you: recording, transcribing, summarising and recognising who speaks. To charge you and keep the books, which the law requires of us. And to keep Minne secure and working, stop misuse and answer when you write, which is our legitimate interest. We never use your meetings to train AI, sell no data, and show no ads.
4. Voices
To recognise who speaks, Minne works out a voiceprint: a row of numbers from the voice, not the sound itself. It's used only to suggest names in your own meetings, and only voices you've confirmed count. You can remove a person, and their voice with them, at any time. In an organisation, voiceprints are shared only if the organisation's admin has turned it on, only between the organisation's members, and everyone can choose not to be recognised and not to share the people they name.
5. Where it's kept
Everything is stored with Amazon Web Services in Stockholm. Summaries are written by an AI model (Anthropic Claude) in Amazon Bedrock within the EU, which doesn't keep what it reads. Nothing from your meetings leaves the EU, and nothing is stored outside Stockholm, unless you connect an app to your Minne yourself, such as Claude: it then reads what it asks for, under its own terms, until you disconnect it on your account page.
6. Who it's shared with
Only you see your meetings, and the apps you connect yourself, such as Claude, except those you share with your organisation: then everyone in it can read the summary and transcript, never the recording, and so can its own systems, if its admins have given them keys. In an organisation, members see who's in it, and admins see hours and cost, never content. Amazon Web Services stores and processes everything for us, in Stockholm and within the EU. Stripe takes card payments as a controller of its own and gets your name, email and card, never anything from your meetings. If you sign in with Google, we get your email address and name from it. We give data to authorities only when the law requires it.
7. How long
Until you delete it. A deleted meeting is gone at once, and deleting your account removes everything: meetings, people, voices, sign-ins and crash reports. Database backups are cleared within 35 days. An export stays for a week so you can download it. We also keep a one-way fingerprint of your email address (not the address itself), so the first month's extra free hours are given once per address, even if the account is deleted and made again. Stripe keeps receipts and payments as long as Swedish bookkeeping law requires, seven years.
8. Your rights
You can find out what we have about you, and get all of it in one file on your account page. You can correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we process it, and take it with you. Write to hej@useminne.com and we'll answer within a month. If you think we're getting it wrong, you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), imy.se.
9. Cookies
Minne uses no tracking cookies and no third-party analytics. The website keeps your sign-in in your browser's local storage, so you don't have to sign in again; signing out removes it.
10. Security
Everything is encrypted in transit and at rest, only what needs something can reach it, and no recordings or transcripts go into logs. More on the security page.
11. Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters to you, we'll email you first.
